Star Baker- White is originally from Orange County California and moved to Georgia in 2000 in order to play on a full ride softball scholarship at Clark Atlanta University. Dr. Baker obtained a BA degree in psychology from Clark Atlanta University and then went on to study at Argosy University psychology with a specialty in professional counseling graduating with a masters degree in 2005.
In 2008 she obtained her certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Argosy University. In 2013 she obtained her certification in Anger Management. She is currently completing the dissertation phase of her doctoral degree in adult education higher learning at Walden University.
Star is a loving wife, a mother of 3 biological children and 4 step children.
Dr. Susan Byers is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a 2006 graduate of Capella University. Dr. Byers studies have included training in minorities and domestic violence, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy, play therapy, communication and conflict resolution.
Her specialty is working with children, adolescents and families. In addition to the counseling experiences she has. Susan is an experienced clinical supervisor, a certified rehabilitation counselor and has extensive experience working with developmentally disabled children transitioning from high school to adulthood.
Susan uses a respectful, caring and listening approach. She encourages self- awareness of ones guiding belief system, thoughts and emotions. Promotes healing with respect to all aspects of the self (physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and social.
Susan grew up at the base of the Appalachian mountains in upper east Tennessee, then moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia State University. After falling in love with Atlanta, she stayed after graduation to build a life and raise her sons.
